Yassin Pasaribu, Deputy of Cempaka Putih Sub-district, explained the buildings must be dismantled since disturbing the drainage and prone to puddle during rainy season.

"We dismantled 30 terrace buildings due to stood atop water channel. Nine street vendors stalls were fully dismantled," he said, Thursday (9 /10).

According to him, his side had done the socialization, warning letter, up to self-dismantle. "The buildings must be dismantled because they ignored our warning," he added.

Meanwhile, all deployed officers were also cleaning the park and water channel around the area.
